When we began our search for Australian-owned, grown and roasted coffee we called out a “Cooee!” far and wide for Australian coffee farmers to join us in bringing their speciality product to the mainstream. We are always on the look-out for more rare and delicious Australian coffee, and we aim to partner with more farmers in the near future.
Our aim was to help this fledgling industry not only survive but thrive, and by doing so we could do our part to reduce the carbon footprint of our favourite cuppa by buying locally, as our coffee goes from crop to cup with far less food miles.
You might have guessed that sustainability, ethical practices and the support of Australian businesses are very important to us. So much so that we didn’t just select who we would work with, we vetted each grower to ensure that they met our own ethos.

Southern Cross Blend
100% Australian-Grown Specialty Coffee
A showcase of local flavour from Australian farms in Queensland and New South Wales — small-batch coffee, nuanced and clean.
A multi-award winning blend of 100% Australian-grown coffee. A medium bodied, balanced coffee, highlighting smooth, earthy chocolate notes with a hint of citrus. Perfect for everyday drinkability.
Suitable as a black or milk-based coffee.
Our current independent green bean testing applies to Southern Cross Blend, Jack Murat, Byron Blue and our Cold Brew Concentrate, which is made using Southern Cross Blend.
These coffees have been tested at the green bean stage for key moulds and mycotoxins, with results reported below the laboratory’s stated reporting limits. This means those mycotoxins were not detected above the levels the lab measures and reports.
Other Cooee Coffee Co products follow our quality-focused sourcing, handling and roasting standards, but should not be treated as independently tested for mould or mycotoxins unless specifically stated on the product page.

Crafted from meticulously sourced, specialty-grade Arabica beans and masterfully roasted right here on the Sunshine Coast, this blend is engineered to be smooth, uplifting, and profoundly creamy—the essential cup that encourages you to pause, breathe, and truly savour the day.
It delivers a beautiful balance of inherent sweetness and rich depth, defined by butterscotch and chocolate sweetness, subtly soft stone fruit, creamy body and a velvety finish.
